Dr Ejiro Ogodo-Nwachukwu is a distinguished medical professional with a bachelor’s degree in medicine and surgery. Her expertise in Radiology was honed through a rigorous residency training program at the esteemed Lagos University Teaching Hospital (LUTH), where she acquired a profound knowledge of Radiodiagnosis. Recognized for her exceptional skills and dedication, she earned the prestigious title of “Fellow of the West African College of Surgeons” after successfully completing comprehensive training, examinations, and certifications.

Dr Ejiro’s illustrious career commenced as a resident radiologist at Lagos University Teaching Hospital. She also applied her expertise at various diagnostic and healthcare facilities, including Crestview Diagnostics, Lagoon Hospitals, Foremost Diagnostics, and Me Cure Healthcare. Her commitment to delivering accurate diagnostic results significantly improved patients’ clinical outcomes and overall patient experience.

Joining Avon Medical Practice as a full-time Consultant Radiologist marked a pivotal moment in her career. Her outstanding performance in this role led to the recognition of her excellence, as she was awarded the “Best Staff in Excellence” by Dr. Awele Elumelu, the chairperson of Avon Medical Practice.

Demonstrating exceptional leadership skills, Dr Ejiro was subsequently entrusted with additional responsibilities as the Head of Diagnostics and Dialysis Services. In this capacity, she oversees all aspects of operations related to Diagnostics, including Laboratory and Radiological services, as well as the Dialysis Centre. Her commitment to ensuring the effective and seamless functioning of these crucial services underscores her dedication to excellence in healthcare management.

In recognition of her outstanding track record of excellence, professionalism, diligence, and unwavering commitment to service delivery, Dr. Ejiro was entrusted with an additional leadership responsibility as Head of the Patient Experience Department. This role was established as part of a new strategic initiative by the Chairperson, reflecting confidence in her capacity to lead and drive impactful change.

Since the inception of the Patient Experience Department at Avon Medical, her oversight and leadership have driven the successful implementation of several meaningful patient-focused initiatives, resulting in measurable and positive improvements across patient care and service delivery.
